If your band was a pizza what type would it be?

 

“We would be a supreme, but without pineapple as pineapple ruins everything. Otherwise rather than a half and half, we would probably be seven different types.”

Being a seven-piece band, what instruments do you have?

 

“Bass, two guitars, synth, trombone, sax, trumpet and everyone sings.”

How did you come up with the band name?

 

“Drunk and we thought it was funny.”

I believe you are recording at the moment.

 

“Yes we are halfway through recording a EP which should be out later in the year.”

How do you rate your success on stage?

 

“Basically the space between claps: if they are shorter it means you are better.”

Highlight so far?

 

TNR: “Winning the Basin Music Festival and winning a free recording session.”

 

JSQ : “Touring earlier in the year to Perth and Adelaide and Adems first gig in The Gershwin Room.”

 

AADD : “Everything we do is a highlight.”

Do your songs have a message?

 

TNR: “Some do, some don’t; we have one about a car crash victim, another about chicks that control you, or our song about a robot/tiger relationship.”

 

JSQ : “Our song’s topics cover life: to put it in basic terms.”

 

AADD : “Our songs range from being poor, getting evicted, being shitty at the government and cutting up a girl and eating her insides.”
