Japandroids announce 2017 Australian headline tour

Canadian rock duo Japandroids will be heading to both Australian and New Zealand shores this July for an exciting pair of national tours.

The dates mark the band's first return to Australia since their appearance in December last year. On top of their intimate fan shows in Sydney and Melbourne selling out in under three hours, Japandroids roared through much-loved sets at both Meredith and Fairgrounds Festival.

The tour comes straight after the release of the band's third album in January, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life. Much like previous albums Post-Nothing and Celebration Rock, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life has already garnered acclaim and attention for its blending of classic rock and minimal punk sensibilities. The album is available now on POD via Inertia.

Don't miss the opportunity to catch Japandroids at the Corner Hotel on Tuesday July 11. Tickets available this Friday April 21 from 12pm via Handsome Tours.
