Jack White Melbourne Sideshow

After he was announced as the headliner of this year's Splendour In The Grass yesterday, Melbourne fans have been eagerly anticipating the possibility of a Jack White sideshow - especially considering he was one of the select main acts on the poster not to be suffixed with "only Australian show".

We can expect a selection of classics from the Jack White canon, which includes The White Stripes, The Racontuers and The Dead Weather material, as well as tracks form his cracking debut solo LP Blunderbuss.

 

Recent shows have been split into two halves - one with an all-female backing band and one with an all-male.

 

Support comes from our very own Lanie Lane, who of course worked with Jack last year to release a seven-inch.

Jack White performs at Festival Hall on Wednesday July 25. Tickets onsale Tuesday May 1.
