Iggy Pop and Nathaniel Rateliff announce Bluesfest sidehow performances

The king of punk is coming to town.

Punk icon Iggy Pop and soul legends Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats have unveiled sideshow tour dates ahead of their huge performances at Bluesfest.

Iggy was recently announced as a headliner for Bluesfest 2019, though if we're being honest, it's as if every act this year is a headliner. The Stooges frontman boasts a musical career which spans decades, mingling with the genres that rose to power during that time. Iggy's most recent release, Teatime Dub Encounters, was an EP collaboration with UK electronic group Underground.

In addition to Melbourne and Sydney, soul seven-piece Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats will be stopping by Adelaide as part of their sideshow calendar. Their March album, Tearing at the Seams, has been held to high acclaim.
