Fresh from selling out Australian shows, Didirri is heading to SXSW

Meanwhile, Ro, Kat Edwards, Moreton and Don’t Smile have been locked in for support slots.

After he amazed crowds at BIGSOUND earlier this month and topped multiple best-of lists, Didirri is set to play packed houses all around the country.

His latest track – the massively successful ‘Jude’ – has been followed up by a new video arriving as the second single to come from his debut EP, recorded and produced in Melbourne by Hayden Calnin.

Didirri describes 'Jude' as being born out of a harrowing experience.

"Jude came out of me on the eve of a friend contemplating their own life," he says. "It is a reflection of finding myself in a similar mind to this at times. Feeling that there is no way out. And knowing that these thoughts are chemical and will pass and hearing those words 'take a sad song and make it better' and hoping that you'll be there after all of your thoughts have passed."

Didirri will play Northcote Social Club on Thursday November 16 (sold out) and Queenscliff Music Festival from Saturday November 25 - Sunday November 26.
