Fleet Foxes unveil exclusive Melbourne show

The indie folk band add extra shows between their Falls Festival gigs.

In December and January, Fleet Foxes will return to Australia in support of their third studio album Crack-Up. The Australian tour adds a show in Melbourne in addition to the band's upcoming appearances at Falls Festival in Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle.
The Melbourne show on Wednesday January 3 at Palais Theatre is the only sideshow announced as of yet. Don’t miss out on your chance to see this indie-folk band perform in January. Fleet Foxes' album Crack-Up was written by Robin Pecknold and produced by Pecknold and band member Skyler Skjelset. Released in June 2017, Crack-Up despite being the band's first release in six years, it follows the success of Fleet Foxes previous records. The lead single Third of May / Ōdaigahara received critical acclaim with critics welcoming Fleet Foxes return.
Previous albums earnt the musicians an UNCUT Music Award Prize as well as a Grammy nomination and a Top 10 spot on the Australian, UK and US charts. The band most recently performed in Australia at Sydney Opera House's Vivid Live 2017.
