Electronic: Club Derange are back at Hugs&Kisses, and Lounge host Voyage Recordings showcase

This Friday February 9, the boundary pushers at Club Derange are back at Hugs&Kisses, this time themed as ‘Pleather Planet,’ with a “no pleather, no entry” rule. Their live show sees wall synthesisers and drum machines combined with a custom light show to drive home that ‘80s neon aesthetic.

Up north at My Aeon, Berlin-based techno duo Cassegrain are here to demolish a few hours for Stranger. Alex Tsiridis and Hüseyin Evirgen – the two artists behind Cassegrain – formed the project after a chance meeting at the Redbull Music Academy in Barcelona. In the years following, they collaborated remotely via email, sending stems back and forth before making a move to Berlin where they currently share a studio. Local support from Andrew Till b2b Simon Slieker, Hyper Binary, Concealed, Edward Richards and Arteq Productions takeover upstairs with Machete, Kirk Chetcuti and Karl Devic. Kicks off at 10pm.
