DZ Deathrays : Bloody Lovely

Thrash-rock party goers DZ Deathrays are ready to give serve up their latest record, Bloody Lovely, loaded with feel good, fuzzed-up summer jams to get the heart pumping.

After unveiling highly acclaimed single and absolute banger, ‘Total Meltdown’, late last year, fans who are frothing for more can expect nothing less than an absolute beast of an album.

There’s something so familiar yet innovative about Bloody Lovely, which switches between a big old serving of heavy rock and punk, mixed with glimpses of a more developed and modern edge. Without time to waste, the album relentlessly launches into a high-energy throttle, which will no doubt skyrocket their Australian rock sound into stardom.

It’s gritty, it’s got emotion and intention, and there’s no better way to get people talking, dancing and moshing in 2018. Loaded with 11 delicious tracks, songs including ‘Afterglow’, ‘Like People’, ‘Guillotine' and ‘Over It’ stand out as sure-fire anthems. It’s a vigorous collision of catchy riffs, guitar solos and heartfelt lyricism. Definitely one that will give your vocal chords a major workout.

With such an impressive step up from their two previous albums, the two boys from Bundaberg have produced something that can only be described as bloody brilliant.
