Dead of Winter Festival just added 27 acts to their 2017 lineup

The horror-themed alt-culture event now boasts over 50 stellar artists and groups, for a heavy day of partying.

Brisbane's Dead of Winter Festival has been a mainstay for the Aussie heavy music scene since 2009, and true to their quality form, they've well and truly outdone themselves this time. Over 50 acts across five stages shall grace Queensland over one gargantuan day.
 
Following an already-massive roster of first announcements shall be the impressive likes of The Porkers, Dallas Frasca, Night Gaunts (all the way from New Zealand in an exclusive Aussie show), Giants Of Science, As Paradise Falls, Darkcell, Chronolyth, Sabrina Lawrie & The Hunting Party, Rival Fire, Blind Man Death Stare, Hadal Maw, Tai Sui, Arteries, In Death, Red Bee, The Royal Artillery, Valhalore, Holistic, Elko Fields, Friends With The Enemy, Deraign, The Gutter Birds, Hot Wings, Fire Away!, Freakshow Nightmare and sideshows from  Lillian Lace & Lilith Revere.
They’ll be joining The Bennies, The Meanies (on their last ever national tour), Whoretopsy, Hollow, Truth Corroded, Hollow World, Black Rheno, She Cries Wolf, Flangipanis, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate, Hobo Magic, La Bastard, Smoking Martha, Fat, Walken, Some Jerks, The Black Swamp, Being Jane Lane, Tesla Coils, Mammoth, The Cutaways, Swamp Gully Howlers, The_Molotov, A.M.P and The Heart & Dagger Sideshow.
 
On top of some killer music, the festival’s also bringing back its famous “Freak Show Alley”, showcasing sword-swallowing, fire breathing and nail-hammering talent of acts such as Heart and Dagger along with Burlesque performances from Lillian Lace and Lilith Revere. There’ll be a zombie “make-over” booth, horror films, food trucks and night markets, as well as a yet-to-be-announced official after-party and a handful of regional sideshows.
