Bruce Springsteen To Return In February 2014?

Bruce Springsteen seemed to have had such a good time on his 2013 Australian tour – his first for ten years – that it looks likely he’ll be back early next year for the second leg of his Wrecking Ball tour.

According to a report, he’ll do six arena shows through the country with the Melbourne date at AAMI Park on Saturday February 15. The report also says that the opening act will be a reformed Hunters & Collectors. There have been rumours of H&C touring behind their September-due star-studded tribute album Crucible.
Apparently the plan was for the tour to be announced on 60 Minutes during an interview with The Boss with Liz Hayes.
Alas Triple M broke the news on its website. The post was quickly yanked off. But alas sharp-eyed Facebook group Bruce Springsteen Perth – set up last year to lobby for the Boss to play that city – had leaped on it, and the genie was out of the bottle.

If the story is correct, tickets go on sale on Wednesday August 21.
