A book full of Lou Reed interviews is being released

Containing over 30 interviews with the late musician.

Whether you're a fan of Lou Reed's music or not, there's no disputing that the man had some interesting things to say -- his interviews serving as a look behind the curtain into the inner workings of his mind and creative process.

A depiction of Reed's relationship with the media, as well as an anthology of his creative thoughts, methods and madness, is set to come with a forthcoming book of interviews with the legendary musician, featuring over thirty of his best interviews in total.

Titled My Week Beats Your Year: Encounters With Lou Reed, the book revisits the heyday of rock journalism, focusing specifically on Reed's infamous interviews with Lester Bangs of CREEM Magazine in the '70s.

My Week Beats Your Year is out via Hat & Beard Press in August. The book is available for pre-order now.
