Battlehounds celebrate new EP with Melbourne show

Battlehounds are an inimitable product of Adelaide's privileged music underground who'll be dashing across the country in support of their new release.

They've supported the likes of Bad//Dreems, The Peep Tempel and Dune Rats and now the three-piece indie rockers look to revel in their own fame unveiling Damn Demons to the world.

Think of uncompromising guitar lines taking no one prisoners. It's pub-like and in your face but that's the way it should be and if their lead single Night Crawl is anything to go by we're in for much of the same on the new five-track EP.

The stretch of shows will enlist the likes of The Tommyhawks, The Cherry Dolls, Lorikeet and the Young Offenders as supports.

Battlehounds take over The Brunswick Hotel on Thursday May 11.
