Heading our way for the Big Day Out, third millennium psychedelic heroes and recent Beat cover stars Animal Collective have announced a Melbourne sideshow.

 The enigmatic quartet have taught us to expect the unexpected across ten albums and more than ten years. Bursting with textures – radio snippets, advertising samples, broadcast static – and with a newfound rhythmic immediacy, their latest album Centipede Hz is enamored by experimentation.
