Buzz-garnering UK indie outfit alt-J (∆) have announced their maiden tour of Australia, hitting Melbourne this October.

Hotly tipped to score at this year's Mercury Music Prize, the curiously named quartetare set to showcase material from their full-length debut An Awesome Wave when they reach Australia.
