Alexander Biggs drops new single

'Close Enough' is the second taste of Biggs' forthcoming EP, Whatever Helps You Sleep.

Melbourne singer/songwriter Alexander Biggs has delivered another glimpse of his forthcoming EP, Whatever Helps You Sleep with his latest single 'Close Enough'. Recorded in a West Melbourne warehouse with Matthew Neighbour, the single sees Biggs exploring a bolder sound with crashing drums and sweeping, lush melodies.

“In 'Close Enough', I talk about magnets and plants, about finding perspective and coming back from the dead, and it's mostly about loving someone a lot even though you feel inadequate or are worried about your track record,” says Biggs of the track.

2018 has seen Biggs on the upward, sharing the stage with the likes of Stella Donnelly and Alex The Astronaut ahead of his upcoming tour supporting Amy Shark next month. His seven-track EP is set for release at the end of August. Check out 'Close Enough' below:

Whatever Helps You Sleep is out on Friday August 24 via Sony Music Entertainment Australia. He'll be supporting Amy Shark at The Forum on Thursday August 30, grab your tickets here
