2Swai

So then, w hat’s the band name and what do you ‘do’ in the band?

“The band is 2SWAI and I play guitar and space noise making.”

W hat do you reckon people will say you sound like?

“I think they might say the sound is very rootsy with a funky, psychedelic, electric edge.”

What do you love about making music?

“Creating and performing.”

What do you hate about the music industry?

“The industry part.”

If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why?

“Very good question… not to sure. For this type of music, probably anyone from the ‘60’s/’70’s psychedelic era.”

If you could assassinate one person or band from popular music, who would it be and why?

“Probably Fat Man Scoop or that group LFMAO responsible for that Shots song; not too sure where to begin with that one. I worked as a bussy at a club in Ringwood for a bit and it would not be rare to hear either track four-five times a night.”

What can a punter expect from your live show?

“Hope fully a good night of boogying shenanigans.”

What ’ve you got to sell CD-wise?

“Nothing at the minute although we have a track available to download for free at triplejunearthed.com/2swai.”

Anything else to add?

“Be sure to come to the show on June 17and come early to see the support acts; they’re all incredibly talented and it’d be a shame to miss them.”
