Eva McGowan : Walking Along

Eva McGowan is the spawn of Missy Higgins and Frente – a bobbing, painfully cute folk pop artist who sings here about walking through a garden and watching flowers bloom. She claims Otis Redding and Nina Simone as influences, which is akin to writing ‘Otis Redding’ and ‘Nina Simone’ on a wall and then pissing on that wall. I’m sure Eva’s a lovely kid, but as a student of the blues she should really know better, you know?
