Timothy K. Brown is one half of Light Lions, a curious, fearlessly creative "jazz punk" duo that emerged just recently in Melbourne. His solo project is equally beguiling, with its mournful M.Ward air and skittish instrumentation. Fog On The River, the title track on his beautiful debut EP, sounds like resignation, like broken strings of feeling are slipping through your fingers.
