Departed Sounds Picks Up The Lowtide

One of Melbourne's wonderful attributes is the ability of indie labels to pick up some amazing artists. And one of those joyous pairings is label Departed Sounds teaming up with shoegazing experts Lowtide for the release of their new EP, Underneath Tonight.

Originally started as the solo project of Gabriel Lewis in 2005 and slowly unravelling over the last six years the musical wonder has evolved from a single, soaring guitar to a multi faceted jewel.

Underneath Tonight is the culmination of a bigger version of the band, with Gabriel adding drums, bass and male and female vocals to the mix, creating something new to his soundscapes.

To listen to one of the new songs on Underneath Tonight head over here and if you'd like to pick up a copy, either mp3 or 7” vinyl wander on to Departed Sounds.
