"Cash Savage And The Last Drinks."

Ten bands everyone should know about:

"The Highwater Ballroom Band, Toot Toot Toots, Eaten By Dogs, Little John, Jim Yamouridis, 16 Horsepower, The Nymphs, The Buckaroos (minus Buck Owens), Gene Clark and Buck Hunter."

Nine food items that you need to make a kickarse dinner party:

"Seven bottles of red wine, blue cheese and tiny toasts."

Eight possessions that define you:

"After two days of thinking about my possessions I can only come up with seven. My gold hollow-body electric guitar and my once-was-white but now is a smoked-stained-kind-of-white acoustic guitar, the over-the-top stereo in my room, my dollar sign belt buckle and my range of black shirts, my dog and my '78 series three Landrover."

Seven favourite movies/TV shows that go on your mix-tape:

"Conan The Barbarion, Terminator 2, Alien, Flying High, Die Hard, Die Hard 3 and Grease 2."

Six bad habits you can't escape:

"Drinkin' with Josh Crawley, drinkin' in general, being the loudest person in the room, kicking stuff that isn't mine, making my friends listen to my Italian Party LP when I can't find anything else to listen to and sleeping on the couch."

Five people who inspire you:

"Both my sets of grandparents and Lee Hazelwood."

Four things that turn you on:

"Cheese, the back beach in my home town, bacon (the food not the Kevin) and breasts."

Three goals for your music:

"To be one day played in space, to never have to play other people's songs to make dollars and to do multiple farewell tours each tour bigger and better than the last."

Two live gigs you'll never forget and why:

"Sons And Daughters, Meredith Music Festival 2005. I suppose it was the energy. It's hard to sum up in words what about this gig has stayed with me, there has never been a gig since that I've walked away thinking 'what fucking excellent music' I'd just witnessed, but visually only remembering a mass of shapes and colours.

Gene Pitney at Crown. That guy had a stage presence that could soothe 100 hungry silverbacks clapping out of time."

One day left before the apocalypse and you…:

"Run around screaming the sky is falling, creating as much mass hysteria as possible."
