All very earnest, but there are nice moments in Love Handles. The seven-piece Melbourne folk pop outfit has produced a song that straddles Hunters-era Australiana and thumping baroque pop; the vocals are broad and solid, a fairly straight bat, but the stew of guitars drum gets very feverish.
