Pnau : The Truth

PNAU launch their fourth studio album with this blissful single, taking dance rock to the nth degree of synth hysteria. Pleasantly, amidst the perennially exploding sparkles and pulses, and the mid-tempo disco beats, the lyrics are a bit of a downer: “Said you were confused, you fake and you fake, I thought you were the truth.” It ain’t Shakespeare, but these heartbroken words are a vital counterpoint to the day-glo explosion of music, which is a wee bit mental.
