Raggamuffin 2011 Profits Going To Flood Appeal

In response to the devastation in Queensland, Andrew McManus Presents announced today that all profits from Brisbane's Raggamuffin 2011 concert will be donated to the people of QLD through the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal.

This concert will now be a charity event renamed Reggae For Recovery  Flood Relief Benefit Concert, and has been moved from Pine Rivers to Riverstage in the City Botanic Gardens due to extensive water damage at the original venue.

In addition, Andrew McManus Presents will donate 10 per cent of profits from the 2011 Raggamuffin concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide to the Premier's Appeal, and 10 per cent of Perth's profits to the Carnarvon Flood Relief Appeal.

All tickets have also been reduced to $99.

Raggamuffin Melbourne will be moved from The Melbourne Showgrounds to the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl, which is Raggamuffin's original home.

The stellar line-up of Australia's largest reggae festival includes Mary J. Blige, Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest, Sean Paul, The Original Wailers, Ky-Mani Marley, The Black Seeds and The Red Eyes.

Raggamuffin 2011 begins in Perth on Wednesday January 26, followed by Sydney on Friday January 28, Melbourne on Saturday January 29, and Brisbane on Sunday January 30.

Tickets to Raggamuffin 2011 are $99 or $120 at the gate, and are on sale now at ticketmaster.com.au.
