Illy To Kick Off 2011

After touring nationally in the Groovin' The Moo Festival and performing sell-out shows around the country, Melbourne's own Illy is primed to kick off 2011 with a one-off show in The Espy Front Bar on New Year's Day.

Hip hop with an electro soulful soundtrack, shuffling beats, and music that fits into cracks in the mind, Illy has been making waves since the release of his remarkable sophomore album The Chase in October.

The album received the coveted feature album on Triple J in its week of release, and the lead single It Can Wait (featuring Owl Eyes) has been getting massive amounts of airplay on radio stations nationally.

This New Year's Day show will come directly after Illy's performance at Pyramid Rock Festival, bringing in the new year alongside an already illustrious roster of artists, both national and international.
