What’s the band name and what do you ‘do’ in the band? The band’s name is Vanderlay. My name is Caspar Conrick, I sing and play guitar.
What do you reckon people will say you sound like? Nice, nice, very nice.
What do you love about making music? Writing. Double bass. Harmonies.
What do you hate about the music industry? There’s a lot of it to wade through these days.
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why? Levon Helm. I’d play him a song and he’d teach me to multi-task.
If you could assassinate one person or band from popular music, who would it and why? I wouldn’t have the heart.
What can a punter expect from your live show? Melodic, mostly calm alternative folk music. Pensive and measured.
What’ve you got to sell CD-wise? EP’s and a bunch of fresh singles. You can find them at a show or online.
