It’s been a long time coming, and we are so ready for it. SCOOTER – the geniuses behind 19 banging LPs and your 2002 ringtone – have announced a 25th anniversary tour. 100% SCOOTER: 25 Years Wild and Wicked will hit our shores this coming September, sparking up The Forum on Thursday September 27.

In case you’ve forgotten a few things over the past 15 years, let me take your memory for a little jog. SCOOTER penned such choons as ‘The Logical Song’, ‘Nessaja’, and ‘How Much Is The Fish?’, all staples on the life-soundtrack of anyone born in the late 90s. Aside from these mainstream hits, they are genuinely one of the largest electronic bands in history; they have accumulated over 500 weeks in the singles charts and 300 weeks in the album charts, have sold over 30 million units, and have more than 80 gold and platinum records from all over the world. To top it all off, they have had 23 Top 10 hits across the world – to contextualise this, Michael Jackson has 29 and Rihanna has 30.

Returning to Australia for the first time in over a decade, SCOOTER are planning to provide us with a exhibition like no other; they’re well-versed in the ways of spectacle shows, having already kicked off this high-octane tour in Europe. While they promise they will play all of your old faves, they have some newer tracks that will make it into the setlist as well, such as ‘BORA! BORA! BORA!’.

This is set to be the biggest tour SCOOTER have ever embarked upon. Combine this with the fact that they haven’t been Down Under in over a decade, and you have a show that you definitely don’t want to miss.
