Gig Description
Over in the Old Country the Conservatives are back! Direct from sell-out shows in London and at The Edinburgh Festival 2011, character comedian Dave Lemkin brings you the long-awaited memoirs of this former cabinet minister and one-time nibbler of Margaret Thatcher’s earlobes (amongst other bits).
This highly distinguished statesman and lover will take you on a rollicking ride through not just the story of his life but also the dark and mysterious corridors of power.
Dave Lemkin started doing stand up on the UK circuit in 2002 and quickly established himself with many of the major clubs. He has performed throughout Europe as well as in Africa and The Middle East.
This is just one of Dave’s careers having worked not only as a professional actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company, but as a criminal barrister. Dave has also just completed a full training in Thai Massage, mainly so he can meet women with back problems. Come and see his show! He will definitely be there...unless he is re-training to do something else.
The Rt. Dishonourable Dickie Daventry performs at 1806 from March 28 – April 21. It's at 9.30pm and 8.30pm on Sundays. Tickets are $10-$20 and are available from Ticketmaster 1300 660 013, Tixnofee, Ticketbush or at the door.
