Who are we chatting to and what do you do in the band? Hi, I’m Paige I play guitar and sing under the moniker of MANE.
What do you reckon people will say you sound like? I always find this a difficult question because I’ve heard so many different takes of what people think I sound like, but I would say perhaps a mix of goth and pop with Florence and Lorde vibes.
What do you love about making music? I love how cathartic it can be, it is a really therapeutic and wholesome feeling playing a show and being able to release the emotions and share your music on a public level.
What do you hate about the music industry? There is nothing I particularly hate but I think punters could maybe pre-buy tickets a bit more.
If you could travel back in time and show one of your musical heroes your stuff, who would it be and why? Freddie Mercury for sure. I think he was such an incredible vocalist and performer and would really value his opinion on not just my music but my live set.
What’ve you got to sell CD-wise?
I’ll have my 2016 EP House Of Horror at the shows for people to purchase as well as hopefully some new shirts.
