Weekend

With review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes giving the film a 96% rating, Weekend is almost universally receiving praise from critics. The film centres around a one-night stand between two young men that develops into something more. On a Friday night after hanging out with his straight mates, Russell heads out to a nightclub by himself and picks up Glen, beginning a drug-fuelled weekend in bars and bedrooms that will resonate throughout their lives. We have a couple of double passes to Weekend to give away. Just tell us about the best weekend that you can remember, or can't remember.

Last weekend, in fact, was among the best. Went out to pre-drinks, then to a friend's for dinner, then met a bunch of people for another friend's farewell. Before we knew it, it was 7am and we were in an inner city souvlaki joint! Got home and the sun was well and truly up. Despite the lack of sleep (perhaps three hours' worth?) I managed to make it out the next night until at least 4am. Drank, danced and chatted. Felt so satisfied as not a single minute was wasted the whole two days!

A wild weekend at a Barcelona underwear party and well worth the visit to a clinic a few days later? Or even better waking up last weekend with my partner of 19 years after a long sleep in for the first time in months.

My big weekend involved saying goodbye to my beautiful best friend as she moved away to Fiji to live. Full of moonlight swimming, deep conversations at 3 a.m, and of course an early morning Macca's run, it's one of my best memories.
