The Tea Party
Canadian trio The Tea Party have reformed, much to their legions of fans' pleasure, and are touring this July on their aptly titled Reformation Tour. The multi-platinum selling band has a long history and love affair with Australian audiences, and this tour is their first national Australian jaunt in eight years. We have two prize packs, each consisting of a double pass to their show at The Palais on Saturday July 14 and signed cafe poster. So what's your favourite tea party moment.

I had a tea party where instead of tea and biscuits we used Jack Daniels as tea, and fried bacon on biscuits. As Kamahl once famously said "Do try it"

Going to see them play a small acoustic set at the Cherry Bar

Hearing about The Tea Party reformation tour from Jeff Martin himself at a gig at the Espy last year.
Last time I participated in the Melbourne zombie shuffle I did a zombie-themed tea party for an after party, complete w/ jelly brains. Highlights included the checkout girl's expression when forced to serve undead-me when I ducked into Coles for supplies.
Enjoying a pot of tea after dinner at a friend's house while listening to Kyuss...interesting soundtrack for a tea party, but we weren't complaining ;)
The first time I heard The Tea Party I was at my friend's house when we were about 15 eating cake mix out of the bowl. Psychopomp came on and I turned to her with sugar and flour all over my face and yelled "This is awesome!"
My favourite "Tea Party" moment was seeing Jeff Martin play tea Party songs in a solo and acoustic set at Cherry Bar last year. That man is a genius of a guitarist, and majorly underrated.

Looking everywhere around Melbourne for Tea Party' illuminations DVD and not finding it anywhere for a new copy, then flying over to Perth for a week break and walking past a shop finding their only copy new in wrapper for $5... scored!
Seeing Jeff Martin live at the East Brunswick Club a few years ago, small venue - BIG impact!
