Six60

Since their last sold out Australian tour in April, Six60 have not slowed down, living up to their reputation of being one of today's hardest working bands. The band completed their first European tour selling out three London shows playing to over 3,000 people, and performing for the first time in Germany, France, Holland and Czech Republic. The Six60 September Australian tour sees the band taking their dynamic and energetic live show to much bigger venues where they will be treating fans to a brand new show. They play The Forum on Saturday September 29 and we've got double passes to giveaway. For your chance to win tell us the strangest gig venue you've ever been to. Etihad Stadium is pretty creepy.

DV8 Nightclub off Bourke Street. It looked like a goth rave party, and there was a dude wearing a gas-mask and girls dressed as witches. Pretty weird.

I went to a gig at a little club on King st, and I am 99% sure they bribed the band to perform with jugs of beer. They seemed pretty surprised to be playing! Haha

I saw 'Death In June' at Chasers there were a handful of fans there, a friend from Atlanta Georgia convinced me to go and decided to go on my own, this band doesnt play often and the reason why i went and on his recommendation. They came out wearing full gasmasks and it was the creepiest gig i had been too, even though I love their song 'Symbols of the Sun', in another room was a hellfire party.

At Maitreya this year, away from the grand ol' main stage, was a makeshift camping tent with two naked men playing guitar and rapping to a relatively large audience (say, 18 people). Admittedly I was not -inside- the 'venue,' (I didn't fit), but it was MAD.. or madness. Both.

Not sure if its an actual venue but I was walking alongside the Thames when the Sex pistols played their infamous riverboat version of God save the Queen.Sad to say she lasted longer than them

The strangest gig venue I've been to is in Christchurch, called the High Street Project. Stumbled onto it by accident one night and it was basically a defunct old gallery where random acts perform anything and everything. It was also BYO, and gold coin donation if you can afford it, incense burning everywhere, that type of thing. Sad to say, was one of the casualties of the earthquakes.
