Rap City
Launching in 2010, Rap City brought DJ Premier, The Beatnuts, Masta Ace and Edo G to Melbourne, and it's returning in 2012 bigger than ever! Jesus Christ, talk about a comeback. Featuring an all-class lineup of rap royalty, this year's headline slots have been claimed by none other than Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah, alongside East Coast hip hop king DOOM, Bronx native Chino XL and Killah Priest. Clear your motherfucking diaries. It all goes down at the Forum on Saturday June 9 and we've got a Rap City prize pack including a double pass, t-shirt and tour poster. For your chance to win let us know who you're most keen to see at Rap City at why.

Jesus, asking me to choose between Ghostface Killah and DOOM is like asking me my favourite time to breathe oxygen
DOOM, there's no doubt,
just talking about MetalFace
makes my taste buds go wild
why? cos he's got style from the head to toe
and when i see him i hope he plays space hoes
doomsday, rapp snitches and beef rap.
that said, I don't really care
all I know is goddamn I need to be there.
DOOM is an enigma: the mask, the persona, the multiple aliases. Seeing him in the flesh would be amazing.
DOOM, he's a madvillain with classic mean rhyme schemes that don't follow trends like: "Livin' off borrowed time, the clock tick faster
That'd be the hour they knock the slick blaster
Dick Dastardly and Muttley with sick laughter
A gun fight and they come to cut the mixmaster
I-C-E cold, nice to be old
Y2G steed twice to threefold
He sold scrolls, lo and behold
Know who's the illest ever like the greatest story told."
Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah because he is the greatest MC of all time!
DOOM 'is' an enigma. I hear about him every, single day. My boyfriend is thee biggest MF DOOM, Ghostface fan and all the affiliated Rap kings. Doom is my favourite. Smooth. Lyrical. Associated with some of the coolest cats on the planet. I would be entirely lifted to heaven to be able to send him. He's been talking about it for so long. He would be the happiest guy in the existence of mankind and interplanetary things of any kinds, if he knew he had some special tickets. He's the sweetest guy I know.
Ghostface Killah.....but its a toughie
Soooooooooo hard to split Doom and Ghost but you'd have to go Doom if push comes to shove!!!
