Oz Comic-Con

The very fun Oz Comic-Con is returning to Melbourne! Over two days, the quirky event will feature international and local film and TV stars such as legendary actor Sir Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier in X-Men, Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation) and comic icon Stan Lee (creator of Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man and everything awesome in this world). Aspiring comic creators will also be able to submit their work for professional review, with Scott Allie (Senior Managing Editor of Dark Horse Comics) in attendance scouting for new talent. There will also be comic book and anime artists, gaming demonstrations and cosplay competitions. Oz Comic-Con visits the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday June 30 and Sunday July 1. We have a weekend double pass to giveaway. So who's the greatest super hero of all time?

MTV's The Maxx was the greatest superhero of all time. Not only did he help the damzel in distress conquer her childhood demons, but he maybe did it all without even existing.

Yorick Brown from Y the last man... About the last man (and a pet monkey) who live in a dystopian world where all other men have died off, leaving a planet full of just women. The comic follows him travelling across country to find his fiancee (who's last known location was in Australia). It's a wicked graphic novel!
