Jason Lytle

The former Grandaddy frontman and aficionado of depressed astronauts is coming to Melbourne Town! Returning to the Southern Hemisphere after experimenting with futuristic synthesizers atop his orbital platform on the far side of Neptune, Jason Lytle will be playing two solo sets at the Toff in Town. We’re giving away a double pass to his show on Wednesday February 22. You wanna go? Tell us why becoming an astronaut would be your dream come true.

I've always dreamt of having a job where you travel. I've gotta a boring office job and was absolutely wrapt last year when I go to go to Adelaide for two nights on work, that's how boring my job is and how much I long to travel, whatever the destination. So to be a professional space traveler would be the ultimate dream come true.

Can you imagine the frequent flier points you'd get? I could get that 4 slice toaster that costs 28,500 points

no gravity? the only thing better is music. but thats not the point, floating around with no control, the pure enjoyment of not having a care in the world (literally). what could be better?
