The Afghan Whigs

Well thank the good lord Paddington, a mere 25 years after their first gig, The Afghan Whigs are finally coming to Australia for the first time. The recently reformed Whigs first began in Cincinnati in 1986 and became one of the most acclaimed alternative bands of the early '90s, developing a dedicated cult following. Playing material from across their catalogue including the seminal albums Congregation and Gentlemen, their Australian performances are not to be missed. Alongside appearing at Splendour In The Grass 2012 they'll also be hitting The Hi-Fi on Wednesday July 25. We've got double passes to giveaway. So tell us which other cult hits you're into.

I guess I dont understand the question - other cult bands I'm into, or other AW songs I'm into? I'm into Double and the Swinging Passes until I know how to answer this better.

Being a soldier in the 'Kiss' Army, I got hooked on Dr. Pepper. This led me to importing it on numerous occasions, thinking it would get closer to Gene Simmons, but alas my makeup is never a patch on his.

I'm into sustainability and cycling - both cults if you believe some media and pollies. Sadly the cycling hits can be painful and deadly.

I may well dance naked in The Church of Starry Wisdom with the my Cult Brothers of the Yellow Sign singing the praises of Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos; but if I am ever hipster enough to know if others opinions of what I like makes it popular or unpopular enough to be cult may Yog-Sothoth swallow me slowly.

Okay, for me its gotta be Pulp Fiction.coz that movie just turned everything on its head..Quentin spent a lot of his boredom working in a vidoe store and seeing lots of movies so all that is swerling around in his head and ..viola! his masterstroke.
