You Me At Six Announce Tour
They were meant to be playing with Blink 182. A change of plan, though, has seen You Me At Six score the next best thing… a trip across Australia.
The meteoric rise of You Me At Six has been much publicised in Britain. Among other acclaims, they’ve been labelled a “pop-rock powerhouse”, impressing music magazines around the nation. Just weeks ago, they took home the “Best British Band” gong at the Kerrang Awards. Now they’re set to back it up with a tour down under.
Along with Floridian pop punkers We The Kings and Sydneysiders The Mission in Motion, You Me At Music will be hoping to pack venues across the nation. The trio of cross-national talents will hit the stages of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. In fact, Melbournians will be scoring a double dose, one for the teens, and one for the... slightly older teens.
Like their co-headliners, We The Kings are renowned for their energetic live sets. Their third album Sunshine State of Mind will be out next month, ready in time for pop-punkers around the country to become familiar with their catchy hooks.
Nor are The Mission in Motion strangers to the live scene, having already impressed audiences across their local circuit. Their debut album Somewhere Safe is available here.
Tickets go on sale Friday June 24 at 9pm.
The three acts will play twice at The Hi-fi. Over 18s can buy tickets to the Tuesday August 30 show. An underage gig at the same venue will take place on Wednesday August 30. Tickets can be purchased here
The tour will be presented by Nova, Channel [V], Video Hits, and Soundwave Touring
