WU LYF Pull Out Of Laneway

Fans of enigmatic UK art-pop collective WU LYF have been dealt a blow, with the band pulling out of the 2012 Laneway Festival.

The festival and subsequent sideshows were set to be the band's first ever Melbourne shows, following on form their Australian debut at Vivid Sydney this year.

 

Laneway released the following statement on their official Facebook page:

 

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, WU LYF have been forced to cancel their appearance at the Laneway Festival 2012, as well as their Sydney and Melbourne shows this February. The band and promoter sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Melbourne's St Jerome's Laneway Festival will hit Footscray Community Arts Centre on Saturday February 4.
