As for the locals, The Temper Trap would make a perfect fit for Splendour. Ladyhawke (yeah we know, she’s not exactly a local, but we’ll claim her) has an album due out later this year, and would rule in the either the big top or dance tent. Donny Benet is a superstar in the making, and with the finishing touches being put on his second LP, we’d love to see him bring the heat to Byron. Twerps are well past due for their large-scale festival debut too.
