Soundwave Revolution Mini-Festivals, Soundwave 2012 Updates

The day-long mini-fest will take place at Sidney Myer Music Bowl with 15-17 bands across two stages, no clashes. Ticket prices will be around the $100 mark. The lineup will contain a selection of punk-inclined acts from the Soundwave Revolution bill, with some metal acts performing club shows suring the week

The lineup for the mini-Rev dates looks likely to include Panic! At The Disco, The Used, Four Year Strong, We Are The Ocean, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Set Your Goals, and more.

Bands from the Soundwave Revolution lineup looking likely to hold out for Soundwave 2012 include Madina Lake, Devin Townsend, Steel Panther (who may perform a headline tour in September instead), Times Of Grace, Gojira, and Hollywood Undead.

Whereas Alter Bridge and Sum 41 look set to announced headline shows of their own. And of course, Alice Cooper has announced a headline show at The Palais.

Finally, automatic refunds (including postage and booking fees) are due to start today for those who purchased a full Soundwave Revolution ticket.
