Perform At BIGSOUND This Year

BIGSOUND Live 2011 is inviting artists to apply to be a part of their international music industry event this year.

Held annually in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, BIGSOUND features inernational musicians, buyers and industry reps for three days of networking, forums, keynote presentations and live showcases of new talent.

 

This year features Alan McGee (founder of Creation Records/Poptones), Matador Records' Natalie Judge, Paul Hanly of Frenchkiss Records, Jaddan Comerford of UNFD, Andy Kell of Winterman and Goldstein/Ivy League and Tony Harlow of Warner Music all speaking.

 

BIGSOUND Live is focusing on heavier music and are encouraging applications from punk and hardcore performers.

 

Previous BIGSOUND artists have included Bertie Blackman, The Boat People, Bob Evans, Boy & Bear, Children Collide, Cloud Control, Dan Kelly’s Dream Band, Dappled Cities, Deep Sea Arcade, Hungry Kids of Hungary, kyü, Last Dinosaurs, Little Red, The Middle East, The Jezabels, The John Steel Singers, The Naked and Famous (NZ), Old Man River, Temper Trap, The Vasco Era and Washington.
