Moomba Festival 2012 Music Lineup Revealed

One of the most iconic Melbourne institutions has revealed a stellar array of musical talent for its 2012 incarnation.

More than 100 acts will be gracing the stage at next year's Moomba Festival, with folk-rock heroes Josh Pyke and The Panics each headlining respective days at the festival.

 

Some of the many other acts to grace the Moomba stage include living legends Tex Perkins and Darryl Braithwaite, as well as The Bamboos, Wagons, Owl Eyes and Paper Kites.

 

The Beats Stage will also showcase up and coming local talent, including 8 Bit Love, Amber Lamps, Elephant Eyes and more.

 

All of the events will be free and will be performed on four stages across the Moomba Festival site at Alexandra Gardens and Birrarung Marr.
