In an excting co-production with ACMI, the Cinemix program will see Melbourne’s own electro-powerhouse trio Midnight Juggernauts performing a truly unique and ephemeral soundtrack to the 1960s British newsreel series Look At Life.
Also featuring this year will be Labels Live @, a series of concerts curated by different independent Melbourne-based music labels. Much-adored local imprint Mistletone will curate a night at St Michael’s Church featuring HTRK, Beaches, The Orbweavers, Montero and Wintercoats. Set within the ethereal walls of a church, this one night only event will offer audiences a unique and immersive experience. This special evening will mark London-based HTRK first show in their hometown in over five years, showcasing their long-awaited new album Work (work, work).
Two Bright Lakes will also be showcasing Melbourne acts Oscar + Martin and Teeth & Tongue, who will perform on the rooftop of Melbourne Central.
