Angus and Julia Stone headline The Drop's 2019 lineup

For all the surf lovers out there.

Coastal music festival The Drop has dropped its dreamy lineup for 2019, adding two brand new locations to its arsenal this year.

Headlining The Drop's second year is Angus and Julia Stone, whose 2017 release Snow earned them two spots on the Triple J Hottest 100 and two ARIA nominations. Joining the brother-sister duo are Client Liaison, Hockey Dad, and Alex the Astronaut. Novocastrians who are keen to catch the Jungle Giants on stage may have to take a trip elsewhere, but the legendary Ball Park Music will be there to rock out instead.

The festival dates, ranging from March to June, have been programmed in line with the three World Surf League championship tour events in Australia, in addition to Surfest Newcastle and the Vissla Sydney Surf Pro.
