Adam Freeland to headline The Lake People Gathering

Returning for its third instalment with a stellar line-up.

The Lake People Gathering 2018 features Adam Freeland, a legendary UK DJ and producer, breaks superstar and music visionary. This will be an exclusive one-time set by Freeland – his first and only Australian DJ show since 2014. Joining him on this year’s massive line-up are Mojo Filter, Dreems, Uone and The Oddness Live.

The gathering is celebrating its third year at Alumbra, Shed 9 on Friday February 2. Previous events have boasted headliners Rampue and Bedouin, and have giving the gathering a reputation of a one of a kind experience. The Lake People Gathering stages interactive performances, sunset rituals, sound healing, aerial performances, visuals and 3D mapping, all to expand the mind and soul.

Freeland enticed fans with feverish breaks and provocative basslines finding himself at the foreground of the turn of the century’s breaks and breakbeat culture. More recently, he has been discovering himself musically and breaking the restrictions of genre with electronic outfit The Acid. Whilst in Melbourne, Freeland will also be performing the score from the Nobel peace prize winning film The Bomb with his band during Sydney Festival.

The Lake People Gathering coincides with The Oddness’s Breathing Fire EP featuring a remix by Adam Freeland, on Uone’s label Beat & Path.

The Lake People Gathering takes place at Alumbra on Friday February 2, tickets available via Eventbrite.
