Leftfield Sideshows

In news that’s certain to have discerning dance music fans jumping for joy, the UK’s legendary Leftfield have announced that they’ll be laying down their live show in Melbourne at an exclusive sideshow.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential acts in dance music history, they’re discography features anthems like Phat Planet, Open Up, Release The Pressure and Afrika Shox and two all-time classic albums – 1995’s ‘Leftism’ which placed #34 in Q Magazine’s Top 100 British Albums Ever, and 1999’s ‘Rhythm and Stealth' which enjoyed number one status in charts all over the world. In 2010 Leftfield came back with a vengeance and their hallmark blend of House, Dub, Progressive and blissful Electronica is laying claim to the dancefloors and iPods of an entirely new generation of international clubbers and electronic music lovers. Joining Leftfield on support duties are two of Australia’s finest exports: the all-conquering live act Infusion, and Victoria’s very own Progressive House kingpin, Kasey Taylor.

It all goes down at The Palace on Friday March 18. Tickets on sale next Thursday.

Yes it is still Leftfield, there were 2 members if you so rightly remember and Paul just played the drums. The new drummer is excellent and more than adequate to fill Paul's shoes.
