WHO’S PLAYING
This year to mark the 65th anniversary of the end of WWII, the festival will present an in-depth look into classic Russian war films - films that have proven to fascinate Australian audiences for their unique perspective on world history. The comprehensive retrospective will feature Cannes Film Festival Palm d’Or winner The Cranes Are Flying (1957), the newly remastered version of Bondarchuk’s 1975 classic They Fought The Motherland and Ivan’s Childhood (1962), the first feature film from multiple award winning director Andre Tarkovsky, among many others.

WHY YOU SHOULD GO
The RRFF presents a wonderfully diverse selection of box office hits and award winning new releases, from epic dramas, warm romantic comedies, to political satires.
