If you haven’t been there before, it’s located in Federation Square, in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. And there’s usually some pretty rad exhibitions on. Just for the record.

WHO’s PLAYING

The Festival will show ten feature films, six documentaries, and a tribute to Carlos Carrera, renowned Mexican filmmaker and winner of Cannes Palme d’Or.
Films include The Crime of Father Amaro, On Childhood, Benjamin’s Woman, Leap Year, We Are What We Are and Sins of My Father.
 

WHY YOU SHOULD GO

The largest tribute to Mexican cinema in the world, this festival is all about exposing the international community to the charm, creativity and originality of Mexican culture through film. So grab your sombrero’s and head down to ACMI this October to soak up some authentic Mexican culture. Tequila anyone?

Tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks, or they can be purchased from ACMI on the day of the session if still available.
