Online streaming services

Lachlan Kanoniuk May 22, 2012 @ 11:30am

Looks like Rdio got off to a pretty solid start after its launch a few months ago. Now Spotify has finally launched in Australia. Still haven't adjusted fully to using streaming services, but it seems to be the way the future is heading. Anyone using any other streaming alternatives?

Rdio and Spotify both have their pros and cons but I think I'll stick with Rdio for the moment, no reason to change to Spotify yet.

P.S. How do you pronounce Rdio? Like radio or arr-dio?

Drank the koolaid and made the switch to Spotify. Few things I don't like, especially weird region blockings, but it's overall a lot more easier to use than Rdio. Think Spotify is pretty much the future, went to a house party on the weekend and that was the sole source of tunes. So I guess RIP to the iPod?

not sure how thrilled artists themselves are with the entry of these streaming services. Apparently the amount funnelled through is pretty damn minimal, insulting even.
