Been a pretty slow summer for movies so far, though Melancholia was pretty mindblowing. Looking forward to The Artist and Hugo.

Should be a pretty big year with Prometheus and The Hobbit but!

Don't forget The Dark Knight Rises! Comes out in July. Hard to see it matching The Dark Knight - probably the best film of its genre - but with Chris Nolan you just never know.

Saw Drive on the weekend, didn't live up to the hype. Melancholia at the Moonlight Cinema looks a winner though.

Thought Drive was pretty solid. Seeing Melancholia under an open sky is probably the worst idea in the world. Or the best.
