Vampire Weekend Visit

Following the release of their latest album Contra last month, indie rockers Vampire Weekend have announced a string of Australian headline shows in addition to their Groovin’ The Moo performances.

The band initially made their mark on the music scene with the release of their self-titled debut in 2008, which intermingled sharp, witty lyrics with African inspired beats. Their new album is proving just as successful, having debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has been in the ARIA Top Ten Albums for the past three weeks.

Vampire Weekend will play at the Palace Theatre on Tuesday May 4, pre-sale tickets go on sale noon Thursday February 18 and general sale tickets on Monday February 22 at 9am.
